When Dezirae Bruni and Jessica Rae Sommer of Maverick Design first walked through this 1996 Park City log cabin, they saw past the dated interiors to the home's solid bones and spectacular mountain setting. Partnering with Wedgewood Homes, the team set out to honor the cabin's character while bringing it firmly into the present.
The renovation focused on opening up the living spaces, modernizing finishes, and creating an interior that felt connected to its natural surroundings — warm, livable, and unmistakably Utah. The result: a mountain retreat that blends rustic charm with contemporary design, and proof that the right vision can unlock a home's full potential.
